However, please keep in mind that we do not recommend these as medical advice – these are just tips that you can take to heart to make sure that you live a healthy, full life. Most of these are things you should already be doing, so read on and see which ones you still need to do more of!

● Get A Good Night’s Rest

Napping is essential for good mental performance and has been shown to improve daytime cognitive function, mood, alertness, and attention levels. A study demonstrated that people who slept more had greater working memory capacity than those who slept less or did not nap at all.

However, just taking naps throughout the day is not enough. Your body needs at least 6 hours of sleep every night to fully recover from the day’s activities – that’s 2 full REM cycles! Make sure you get enough sleep at night so you can face the next day nice and refreshed.

● Exercise

Regular exercise is essential for cell regeneration, something that you cannot do without. Do things that give you a good mood, challenge your mental capacities, and help you relax.

Here are some great ideas for exercises to do at home, at the gym, or even taking a run around the block! A five-minute walk every day will improve your health enormously.

● Eat Your Five-A-Day

Eat the recommended five portions of fruit and vegetables per day to help with heart disease prevention, healthy eyesight, healthy skin, and teeth, as well as death from all causes by 30%.

Eating the right foods every day ensures that your body always gets the nutrients it needs to keep pumping throughout the day. So, watch what you eat and make sure you eat right!

● Drink Enough Water!

Drinking plenty of water helps with hydration, metabolism, energy levels, and weight loss. It also boosts the immune system and prevents kidney stones.

Plus, drinking water is good for you – it keeps you feeling energized throughout the day, and even helps curb your appetite. A lot of the time, you’re dehydrated, not hungry!

● Quit Smoking

Smoking can cause cancer and other diseases, not to mention the damage it does to your eyes, lungs, and heart. Quitting smoking is hard, but it’s not impossible.

There are plenty of apps that help out smokers that want to quit – check out QuitSure, which has a week-long program geared to help you quit smoking!

● Check Your Home For HVAC Problems

Air quality in your home should be tested annually by a qualified technician for mold, mildew, and dust mites. Many homes have problems with their heating, cooling, or air circulation systems that lead to poor indoor air quality.

This can cause allergies and asthma attacks. Dust mites are common in homes that lack proper ventilation or have poorly sealed windows and doors.

● Always Wash Your Hands!

Hand hygiene is essential in preventing the spread of harmful bacteria that cause illness and disease. This is especially true for children who are more likely to pick up diseases from other children.

Also, for adults that they come into contact with in hospital or daycare settings (particularly if they were sick in the past, or if their caregivers swapped germs). Hands must be washed often with soap and warm water to kill germs and reduce the chances of infection.

● Get Some Sunlight Daily

We can get Vitamin D from the sun, so make sure you get plenty of it. In the winter months, this is very difficult, but there are a few tricks you can use to get the right amount of time outside. If you have a garden that your children can play in then that’s a great way to achieve this.

Or just go to your local park and enjoy the sun with your loved ones! What’s important is you find time in your every day to go outdoors and enjoy the sun and fresh air.

● Eat Smaller Meals

Most people eat too many large meals and do not consume enough smaller meals over the course of the day. This causes a lot of the calories we consume to be stored as fat, rather than being used. Another easy way to lose weight is to eat a healthy breakfast and lunch every day and a healthy dinner every night.
